The exhibition focuses on architectural criticism. Based on 15 selected Swiss buildings, projects and writings from the last 40 years that have sparked controversial architectural debates, the exhibition traces the way in which architectural criticism transfers building from real space into media spaces: How is architecture spoken and written about in this country in different media such as the daily press, the specialised press, books, radio, or blogs?
The projects are each symptomatic of a particular discourse and illustrate how architecture can be perceived differently. In addition, important protagonists of the Swiss criticism scene are interviewed and comment on the local discourse.
